The play space
Big fun for little legs
We are building an indoor world where toddlers and young kids can climb, pretend, and burn energy in any weather. Here is what we are designing for.
Clean, every day
Cleanliness is the first thing parents ask about, so it is the first thing we are designing for. Toys and surfaces on a real cleaning routine, not a vibes-based one.
Safe by design
Soft edges, age-appropriate equipment, and a layout where little ones cannot wander out the door unnoticed.
Visible from your seat
The cafe faces the play space on purpose. You sit, you sip, you see your kid the whole time.
Imagination first
Pretend play beats screens. We are leaning into play that runs on imagination instead of batteries.
Built for little ones
This is a space for the early years, with babies and crawlers getting their own protected corner away from fast-moving big kids.
Calmer hours
Quieter sessions for families who need a softer environment are on the table. The survey is deciding it.
These six come straight from the questions our survey puts to Roanoke parents
Who it's for
The early years, done right
Play cafes shine for babies through the early grade-school years. The exact age range and session format are part of what the survey is settling, including whether babies and crawlers get their own dedicated times.
Tell us which ages you need covered, and we will build for them.
Fair questions
When do you open?
Soon. We are finishing the space now. Join the early-access list and you will hear the date before anyone else.
What will it cost?
Honest answer: Roanoke parents are setting the price with us right now through the survey. Per-visit play, punch passes, and a monthly membership are all on the table. Full pricing goes up before opening day.
Can I drop my kids off?
No. Better Days is a place you stay and enjoy, with coffee in hand. A grown-up stays with their crew the whole visit.
What about house rules, socks, and waivers?
The fine print is being written alongside the buildout and will be published here before opening. Expect the usual play-space basics done sensibly.
Where exactly in Roanoke?
Location announcement is coming with the opening date. Early-access folks hear it first.
